Make a lipstick💄 for mom

A Mother's Day gift for my mom; I can imagine the smile on her face when she receives it.

Share the method and steps to make it.



1. Ingredients(A basic lipstick)

  • Toner (the more toner, the heavier the color, according to preference and toner color adjustment) 0.33g

  • Vegetable oil 3g

  • White beeswax 1g

  • Candle Tree Wax 0.2g

  • Flavor 1 drop

  • Vitamin E (optional, antioxidant effect) half a drop


2 Tools

  • Electronic scale

  • Disposable gloves

  • Glass beaker

  • Grinding brush

  • Heater

  • Stirring Spoon

  • Lipstick Molds

  • Lipstick mold remover


3 Steps to making a handmade lipstick 💄

  1. Put 0.33g of color powder into a glass cup, add 3g of vegetable mixed oil, and grind it vigorously with a grinding brush clockwise for about 15 minutes without particles. (There is no problem if the error of gram weight is within 0.33g. (Note: When grinding the color powder, be sure to press down hard to grind. Oh) 👉 Grinding can also be added to the velvet powder / soft focus powder, and the grinding brush vigorously grinds fine for a matte lipstick, then do not add Vitamin E and lanolin.

  2. Add 1g white beeswax, 0.1g small candle tree wax in the glass (you can additionally add lanolin to put 0.2g, with moisturising and nourishing, retaining color locking, moisturising the role of lipstick), put on the heater while stirring, heating until the wax melting can be. (Note: If the beeswax begins to melt, the small electric stove can turn it off. The electric stove heats slowly, and the residual heat can completely melt the beeswax. If heating too long, the temperature is too high to pour into the mould, do out of the lipstick will have a lot of small holes)

  3. Add 1 drop of flavour and half a drop of Vitamin E, and quickly stir.

  4. Pour into the lipstick mould within five minutes (cooling too long to pour into the mould will have fine lines), and put into the refrigerator for 10 minutes or room temperature to 30 minutes. Mould within five minutes (cooling too long to pour into the mould will have fine lines), and

  5. Remove and scrape off the excess paste with an iron spoon; press the centre of the paste with the index finger of your right hand to remove the ring, then gently scrape off the excess paste with an iron spoon.

  6. After rotating the lipstick tube uppermost, insert it vertically against the paste.

  7. Put in the stripper. The syringe pulls outward; there is no need to loosen it. Then, directly remove the lipstick.
